Responsive Design
Responsive design is important for so many reasons. Across the globe websites are being viewed on multiple devices like phones, tablets, laptops and desktops. As access to data connections improve, mobile devices are becoming an affordable means of staying connected and using the internet. Business owners realize this part of their audience cannot be ignored and want responsive design.
Until mobile operating systems agree on a standard for how websites are viewed, there are differences in how design elements are rendered from one device to another. Testing mobile responsiveness means having access to a number of operating systems and device sizes.
My strategy is to design for people and devices, including laptops and desktops. I want my designs to adapt to all devices, operating systems, behaviors, and most importantly to communicate with their intended audience. Therefore, my approach to responsive design is user first.
